Garmin Mobile Service 3.0 Upgrade

Garmin has just announced they will expand their flagship Garmin Mobile service offering. Garmin Mobile 3.0 is currently available to Sprint Nextel mobile subscribers (CDMA and iDEN respectively) with a compatible phone. The mobile software upgrade adds more mapping points of interest (POI) -- such as restaurants, fuel prices, weather and live traffic reports. Traffic data is automatically calculated into routing so that it can direct you to follow an alternative path that will route you around possible delays. Gas pricing information is tracked by compiling recent credit card transactions in the area being recorded by OPIS, a petroleum pricing group.

Garmin Mobile will give you turn-by-turn directions to any address located in the United Statess and Puerto Rico. With the latest 3.0 software update you will have access to over 6 million points of interest. The current pricing is set @ $9.99 per month for unlimited usage.
