Samsung demonstrates new mobile High Speed technology

CES 2006 - Samsung flexed a little technology muscle today by demonstrating first hand at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas the new HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) mobile phone technology that can reach speeds up to 3.6 Mbps. Although there have been many demonstrations of speeds peaking up to 1.8 Mbps in the recent past, Samsung's demo of HSDPA handset speeds of 3.6 Mbps is a mobile phone industry first. The HSDPA handset will allow users to download content much faster than WCDMA or GSM/GPRS networks.
