As part of a European phone launch event, Nokia today announced the first N73 mobile phone. This cellphone is an update to the popular N70 model. With an array of updated imaging and multimedia features, it is now being dubbed the "The Ultimate Challenge to the Digital Camera."

The feature-rich N73 sports:
3G or Quad-band GSM/EDGE
3.2 megapixel camera
S60 3rd Edition Software on Symbian OS
Flickr.com mobile software support

Nokia expects to release the N73 for shipment during July 2006(3Q). The company has also announced they will unveil a true multimedia version of the N-Series called the N93 -- also shown today.
