Kathy - In essence the answer is No. But wouldn't that be great - The Sanyo MVP (Sprint Model MM-9000) was designed just for Mobile ESPN and can only be used on Sprint's CDMA (850/1900 Mhz) network. T-Mobile and Cingular have built a network based upon GSM wireless technology which is incompatible with the Sanyo MVP. Note: Sanyo is an exclusive phone provider for Sprint in the U.S. market and the phone is probably locked so that even if you wanted to jump to Verizon (CDMA network) the phone would not work their either.

Can you use this phone with t-mobile or cingular service?
